Decreasing water levels in the world's oceans
To combat the effects of the greenhouse effect and glacial melting, it is proposed to stabilize the water level in the World Ocean by producing ice from ocean water in Greenland, where there are areas of ice-free land stretching along the island’s coast, reaching 200-250 km in width in some places.
An automatic freezing system is proposed, consisting of pumps with pipelines for transporting ocean water to the place of ice production, ice generating units and wind turbines for energy supply.
Preliminary calculations have been made showing the economic and technical feasibility of the project. There are publications in Ukraine.
We are looking for partners/consortium to study various aspects of the proposed technology at an early stage of development.
